Welcome to Apex Aleworks – 2021 Small Business of the Year, presented by the Independence Council for Economic Growth.

Founded in 2011, the Supply Store has been offering DIY brewers ingredients and equipment to craft their own beer, wine, whiskey, moonshine, cider, seltzer, and soda from home. BBQ Enthusiasts have been sizzling up backyard adventures with our selection of spices, rubs, wood, pellets, grilling accessories and more.

Seven years later, we moved the Supply Store in preparation for the buildout of the Brewery & Taproom!

October 2018, Apex Aleworks Brewery & Taproom splashed onto the brewing scene, serving craft beer lovers as the first nanobrewery in Independence, MO.

March 2020, the Taproom underwent interior renovations. Spring 2021, outdoor seating was put in place. If you haven’t visited the taproom since the changes, please accept a welcoming invitation.
