Vanilla Creme Caramel Ale
This is a pint full of goodness using 2 row, wheat and Crystal 60. Mix in a little vanilla extract, lactose and belgian candi sugar and boys and girls we have a Vanilla Creme Caramel Ale! Not too sweet, not too hoppy this is sure to be a crowd pleaser and might just occupy a permanent tap in your kegerator.
Both recipes use Safeale 05, Wyeast 1056 American Ale or Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale. Northwest Ale will give you a slighly sweeter, more fruity finished product than 1056 or Safale 05. Best fermented for 3-5 weeks.

Extract version is made with DME and steeping grains. Steeping grains are packed in a muslin grain bag perfect for steeping. 5.5 gallon recipe.

Both recipes come with detailed instructions which may or may not need adjusting to you own brewing style. Try this and I think you will love it!
